Coastal villages

There are several beautiful and scenic seaside villages near Sagadi that are unique in Estonia. From Captains’ Village of Käsmu to Altja Fishing Village, there are six notable seaside villages with their own characteristics:

Käsmusea museum, lighthouse, stone field and glacial boulders, chapel and cemetery

Lahe – Koltsi rocket base on the shore of Käsmu Bay

Lobi – village museum, Lobineeme forests and paths, glacial boulders, former border guard station

Pihlaspea – old cemetery established in 1845

Vergi – the largest yacht and boat harbour on the northern coast of Estonia

Altja – former summer residence, tavern and net sheds of Sagadi manor.
